I think this is in the wrong section. However, after searching for five minutes for the wrong one, I've just decided to post here.
I am forming a group. This group specializes in copywriting, marketing and sales. In this group we will discuss how we can improve our online / offline businesses, effective cold-calling, marketing strategies, Internet Marketing (conversion related).
It will be done through Google Groups. It's preferable that you have a Google + account too, so you can join in a hangout.
Here are the benefits:
-> Receive valuable advice towards improving your own business.
-> Network with same minded people. Find clients or business partners.
-> Improve your skills and get a sense of direction in your business.
Here are the requirements:
-> Minimum 6 months experience in sales / marketing or IM.
-> A minimum income of $1500/month. If you're not happy with this, I'm sorry, I don't want to insult you. But if you can't even make $1500/month, then what we are planning to talk here won't actually help you. If you have more than six months of experience, it's preferable a minimum of $5000/month.
-> North America / Europe / Some parts of Asia. Indians excluded.
-> Being able to contribute with something. If you plan to join just to pitch, then you're out of luck.
-> Preferable able to work with MindMaps.
We won't do / take part in:
-> Skype conversations (time consuming).
-> Google talk conversations (time consuming).
-> Online gaming or any other kind of p2p entertainment. If you want to do that, do it in private.
-> Wasting time. We'll have a clear topic we need to cover and we'll focus on that topic. I'm not here really to make friends. I'm here to learn.
We may take part in video chat conversations (if there's a point in doing that) and use collaboration tools.
