Hey guys,
I'm (obviously) new here and just wanted to say hi.
First just a quick note to the admins, the welcome PM from MJ DeMarco has a 404 link the url:
https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/introductions-networking/
Doesn't work.
Ok so now about me. I started doing business online when I was 14 (yeah really - I'm 29 now). I created a php/mysql shopping system for my own site and I sold software, dongles and shipped world wide. A few years later I happily switched to digital products only (how I hated to deal with shipping companies).
Since 2006 I've been running a successful collection of website that deal with mobile phone sim unlocking, repairing etc and using those sites I managed to grow my business with almost a 100% last year for the first time going over the 100k revenue line (happy me).
During the most of my twenties I've just been running this business and not really growing it as I was travelling to many places, living my life and enjoining the h*ll out of it. Last year (end 2012) I decided I wanted to start growing my business and find a place to settle down.
Still haven't found a place (the USA is a real PAIN in the *ss with visas) but I did found my girlfriend with whom I'm together for over 2.5 years now.
I'm working on not 1 but 2 start-ups:
VendorAngel - a platform to protect vendors from unwanted customer (yes they exists in various categories actually) by quantifying trust based on user generated content. The main product is an API (or via manual interface) where based on all customers details a TrustScore is calculated based on 31 factors. It is of course up to the vendor what to do with the score (we will provide our recommendations of course)
SEOProject - SEO is not something you can 'wing' and do a little here and there and rank. SEO needs to be integrated in strategical planning. There are many good and terrible SEO tools to help rankings but there does not exists any decent SEO strategical planning (with budget tracking, easy outsource SEO tasks, result tracking and more).
uf ok I just realize this post just got a bit big perhaps.. so I'll stop
Looking forward to connect, learn and perhaps even some teaching!
