I would like to get back into the medical facility janitorial niche.This is a nice brick and mortar business that brings in cash every month while I learn the online world
Unfortunately Im a nobody when it comes to the janitorial businesses that saturate my county. I have tried and tried to secure contracts from the clinics around here but to no luck. I get shooed away 
Now I understand, certain medical groups have these deep partnerships even thought they are being provided crappy service
Ive tried to bring to the attention some issues that are very serious to these facility managers that the regular community do not see.
They are not willing to hear me out. I work for one of my competitors( I meant someone I see as my future competitor) and have seen for 9 years the cleaning they do and not just them other janitorial companies. And I have seen the nasty cleaning procedures implemented to clean these facilities.Wait a minute, what procedures lol. They just wing it
I mean honestly can you be okay or okay with your family going into a clinic as a patient an knowing that everything you touch has been cleaned by the same rag to clean the sinks, toilets and sometimes floors. and this is only half of it. Im not talking about your regular office cleaning. N0! these are healthcare facilities.Where germs,viruses and sickness flourish when you get improper maintenance. I know, I have been more sick while working here then I think is normal to get sick or ill. whatever you want to call it. Since I have seen how disgusting these buildings truly are (even though looks are deceiving) I have become a germ-a-phobic. My employees make fun of me but Im okay with that. I try to protect myself as much as I can. Anyone ever heard of Staph Infections? Yummy huh
anyways i have rambled to much. These healthcare facilities are in-denial. They are not willing to hear me out.I want to offer these facilities my services. Why can I better then the current provider? Because I can implemet a system that will get these high priority contact areas everytime even if I charge big bucks. I work in the field and my bosses just push paperwork.I see what they havent seen or the supervisors wont talk about. The company I work for is in a great relationship with this big group of medical facilities. He is an actual property developer in the area and has big local goverment contacts. He brings in over 3.2 million dollars in revenue from just this Medical Group, yet he puts his workers at risk and these facilities he owns and manages.He just leases them out to doctors.
This company does not provide proper training, his training is how to take out the garbage and where to dump it and wipe here and here and ur done.
they also provide no bloodborne pathogen training! WTF! Im scared to even clean biohazard spills and refuse even thought they threaten us with firing. So there goes my co-worker putting himself at risk.Just this week he asked us to clean a couple of rooms with chicken pox contamination. I refused and he didnt do nothing to me. But my poor co-worker there he goes risking himself for 8.50
This company has a high turnover rate for employees and even the managers admit this.
Why do these people have such a high turnover rate, because people dont feel safe cleaning these buildings just winging it. They cannot go home with a clean conscious knowing that these are the same buildings they come to for medical services.
He provides the janitorial services to the medical group when he should just focus on what he does best which is develop property not F*cken janitorial. I cannot believe people are willing to wing it for so long and be F*cken nasty in the services they provide only to line there pockets with cash.
O my gosh did I just write all of this. Please help me how do I take this business away. I have some ideas.
Create outside pressure by using the media???
maybe get someone in local goverment to listen to me to pass a local ordinance designating all healthcare facilties to strict cleaning procedures like hospitals and become a pioneer in the business??? Regulation would be nice
Create my own newsletter to inform the community and elsewhere. Like a watchdog newsletter.
I just want the ceo of this company and other companies as well to wake up and smell the coffee.
