Hi all,
I am creating this website where people can upload pictures and other users can make funny comments about the picture. Should I create a system where you can ''like'' a comment and the person who posted that comment then gets a credit? Basically like the rep bank on this forum.
The users with the most credits earned will be listed on the front page on the side of the page. They will be divided in the most points earned today, this month, and all time.
My question is, will this encourage people to post comments knowing that they can get on the front page and feel good about themselves? Or will this work the other way and discourage the people who don't post as funny stuff as the others. Meaning, I will give up posting because the others are way better than me.
