Hello fellow fastlaners,

It seems that there isn't any post on this site discussing the different merchant accounts,gateway payments and other providers.


It can get very confusing for someone starting out, or maybe even a veteran who is not happy about his or her current service. To find a proper account.

So I'd like to hear your guys experiences about different providers.

Here are a few that I have heard about, but I'm sure that there are providers that I do not know about.
The ones that I have selected so far to review are as far as I see a combination of a payment gateway and a merchant account in one.

• Protection: (What kind of merchant protection do they offer)
• Ease of use: (How easy to maintain, How easy to install?)
• Availability: (Can everyone pay? Can any merchant use it, no matter what location they registered their company/bank account)
• Costs: (How is the cost vs product rate? what does it actually cost?)
• Pros: (What are the good points about this provider)
• Cons: (What are the bad things about this provider)

And yes, I am currently in the phase where I have to choose and create a merchant account/payment gateway etc.
so that information will help me out.
However, if someone is as nice to take the time to reply, I'll update the information in this post so future people will be able to find that information quickly and organized, so your contribution will live on.

I added some information that I found so far, and will add more in the close future. but would definitely appreciate to hear from people that have experience with these providers, or would suggest another one.
