Hi, it's me, the You of the future. I'm speaking to you through an unusual rift in space-time. Yes, I know, that's a little strange, even for you, but believe me, this is YOU talking at my former self, the self that was, the one who shall not be named (any longer). I'm speaking to you from a place only a few short years from now.
My time is brief, so I want to be as concise and direct as possible (a skill you acquired on your journey, btw). I'm here to give you a message, one that you will either believe as true, or dismiss it as yet another fantasy notion created by some weirdo you think you don't know. The funny thing is, you'll be doing this same exact thing when you reach "my" point in time. Don't believe me? Just wait.
Ok, enough with the time travel stuff. Here is the message I wanted to give you:
You made it. Congratulations. You are awesome, amazing, phenomenal. I am beyond proud of you. I'm looking back on that pristine day you decided to change and am in awe. You decided - RESOLVED - that you would get rich, that you would have freedom, and that you were going to have it all. And you got it.
Let me tell you, that decision literally changed the timeline, and here I (you) am. The me I was seems like a different person before he changed (and he was).
Let me give you a preview of what I see in front of me now:
New Hampshire. You've wanted to live there for a long time. I see a mountain range, a beautiful swaying sculpture of massive sinuous stone, trees, falls and endless sky, a shimmering, tree-speckled lake. I am perched out on the front deck of my (your) 16 room mansion. It is a cool autumn eve, the day is yawning into crepuscular glory as the sun bids adieu yet again among it's millions of farewells, kissing the colorful conflagration of color that has overtaken the leaves all around me.
I am sitting on the deck writing this to you, occasionally looking up at the sky, those small twinkling friends beginning to peek at me. I feel small, and so expanded. You know this feeling. You've felt this whenever you looked up there, no? It gets deeper as you go on, my friend.
And here I am, massively grateful, humbled by your hard work, your assiduous work ethic and your PASSION to get to the goal.
You want more of a preview? I can afford to give you that. In fact, I can afford to give anyone anything at this point.
Looking at the driveway, I see a 4-car atmospherically controlled garage. I won't tell you what kinds of cars you have (that's a surprise, what fun is it if you read the last page of a book?
), but they are all brand new, paid with cash, and... yes, a couple of them are luxury!
The house you inhabit - where do I begin? 16 rooms, as I have already said. Some of these rooms I've almost forgotten about since I haven't visited them in so long.
Do you like fireplaces? If I remember, you were a bit indifferent to them. Most people are. You're going to love the one in the living room. And the billiard room... and the pool house!
Whoops, have I given away too much? Here's more...
I no longer think of money in any capacity. I don't have to. That pressure has vanished. The only thing I think about is how to give to others. All of my needs are taken care of swiftly, beautifully. I have to chuckle a little bit at how much of a big deal I used to make out of which soap I should buy at the supermarket because one was 50 cents cheaper than the other. Doing laundry in the kitchen sink? Buy an $0.88 can of soda for dinner? These thoughts are funny now!
What day is it now? I had to check. It's a Wednesday. Can't remember the last time I checked to see what day it was. I have nowhere to be, don't have to do anything unless I want to.
Travel - at any time, I can get up and go. It's not the places that make me happy (although they ARE amazing!), it's the choice I now have to visit them any time I want. I have gained friends all over the world.
And the love, friendships, compassion and generosity you will gain. It is all there. I am living a paradise.
Listen, this is you talking. I know you may be skeptical, but your decision, your absolute conviction that you were going to do this is what paved the way to where I am right now.
And I also want to tell you to never, ever, ever give up. Keep going, no matter what happens! You may have some tumbles or delays, but that is just part of the process! I think you already know this, and maybe I'm preaching to the choir. In fact, I'd say I don't need to tell you this, but I love myself, so I want to give you a little cushion to land on in case things get rough. The potential is you won't see them as delays or tumbles, but as opportunities since your fortitude is so unwavering. You'll see what I mean.
But you've made it. You've realized a dream you had since you were 15.
And the difference you are making! Wow... if only I had more time to expand upon it. I'll give a hint: your loved ones are absolutely provided for and will change for the better. Your relationships will expand exponentially. The community at large benefits. You will have realized a dream in this direction! But it looks like the space time vortex through which I'm speaking to you is collapsing. So it's time to wrap up...
