An idea isn't shit without great execution... but still... great ideas have changed the world.
I've recently devoted myself to discovering great business ideas. Not just "oh, this would be a great info product," I'm talking ideas with even larger potential. Millions or even billions in potential growth.
Right now I'm developing a process that will allow me to quickly generate ideas, evaluate them for market potential, test them, and then launch the very best one.
The process involves looking at the USP behind the most successful startups of today and either improving on them, or implementing them in a new market.
Using a series of questions, I am trying to systematize idea creation and evaluation to make the whole thing work like a well oiled machine.
I'm hoping that some of the knowledgeable members of this forum can point me to any books, blogs, or other resources that might help me in the idea creation process.
Where do you go for ideas? What have you done to get that flash of inspiration?
