Rather large thread necro but anyway...
My brother has gone through the whole Ferrari/Porsche/Maserati cycle. No interest in them for me. I drive a mildly blinged up new sedan. It's nice to drive, average enough that people don't throw stuff at it and big enough to put up a decent effort in a crash vs most of the vehicles tourists drive fairly badly here.
