You may remember me from such posts as James S. millionaire by 30 and others
Well I am starting a new thread for a purpose. In that other thread, it reeked of cockiness and inexperience with no humility what so ever. I am starting this new thread more or less for me, but to also share anything that I learn.
I want a clean slate really to remove my previous identity where I was focusing on what I didn't have and excuses.
I am going to be doing a weekly update so that I can share what I have learned and ask questions about anything I have experienced during the week.
I want to say that I recently heard something (don't remember where) and the statement was empowering for me: "Resist Nothing - Embrace everything".
I am using this thread as an accountability measure as well, if I do not complete my set tasks, I am going to have to do something that I don't want to do and is painful such as donating to a cause I don't really like (I think they are called Anti-charities or something).
I welcome all feedback, and will respond to all questions.
What have I done so far?
I have identified my limiting beliefs and am in the process of reshaping my identity
I have an income source now (Was unemployed for 6 months while doing a Diploma of Management at my local TAFE)
I have started to meditate daily for 1/2hr
What do I want to achieve in this next week [16/8 - 23/8]?
Do a body weight circuit every day for health and fitness
Continue meditation (until it is a habit)
Choose a niche that I want to solve problems for (as I want to start in the opposite direction)
Identify whom I wish to talk to and get emails and phone numbers for these people
Why
I have been having an issue with my weight and fitness levels and understand at a superficial level that exercise will help me wake up in the morning and help me to sleep better
I enjoy meditation, and find that it helps to refocus me
I am starting a 20 mile march, and as such need to take consistent forward moving action daily
Anyway, that about wraps it up for this post. I'll see you next time, any questions or feedback (too little? Too much?) is always appreciated.
