Hey there,
Anyone around for less than a year won't have much of a clue who I am, but for all the people around over a year ago, I want to apologise for my tempremental nature back then. I'm sorry for example for jamming things passive aggressively in people's faces. It was dumb, childish, and I really did know better but just couldn't seem to avoid it due to my own stuff I had to square away with. The reason I'm apologising is because even though most people won't admit it, when a guy like me throws their arms up a bit like I did, it shakes your confidence a little, makes you question how much good you can do. I don't want anyone to feel that way, apologies to MJ to Vigilante and to all who were bothered by my not so subtle presence and intrusions.
Now onto the advice
Why might a guy appearing on a forum like me typically apologise after a year or two of absence? Maybe it is a veiled attempt to then just weasel his way back in, do the same things they used to, all that stuff. I get that fear, it is correct most of the time, but I'm not here to apologise because I need something, I am here because I owe something. Even though it might have felt hopeless talking to me etc, I want people to know it did help. Which, is probably not all that reassuring, but it isn't nothinng.
So how is that advice?
It is advice by example. I don't say this to get validation from anyone here. I no longer try to climb those imaginary ladders in my mind. My advice is that, resentment for percieved injustice forgets to ever truly give to the conversation in earnest. The best justice is understanding.
Thanks
And sorry to all those whose process I disrespected
I might not agree on everything but it was on me to add to things
