The construction industry is on the cusp of a technological revolution.
So we created a web and mobile app to manage construction photos and prints for General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, and owners.
These four groups are relying more and more on photos taken at the jobsite for updates, issues, and legal purposes.
Our software will allow them to store their photos and prints in the cloud and access them from anywhere with complex controls for who can see which photos.
Currently, AEC's (Architecture, Engineering, Contractors) use a plethora of new software to make their jobs easier. Most of these products focus on their workflow processes, i.e. change order programs, payment programs, project management, etc.
And they pay for these programs, I mean PAY. Some run in the thousands of dollars per month/per project, and they look like they were made for Windows 95, and function at the same level.
We are trying to wedge ourselves into this niche, and we start our alpha testing next month and launch in the first quarter of 2013.
For marketing, we are going to try some online advertising and direct mail, but we are mainly going to try selling face to face in our local market early on.
Any questions you have are welcome. I believe this is an exploding field to get into.
I also welcome any input, I am new to this and I want to kick butt when we hit the gas in the fast lane.
