I have to say, I have 2 things that don't leave my hands ever. They are the best tools I have found, for me they help tremendously. They are simple, sure a computer can do the same thing, but for some reason I prefer old school with these. Often overlooked but not for me, they are.....a notepad and pen. I have 2 basic notepads for my operations. One is my daily planner I just started using and the other is my ideas pad.
The planner is just nice because its simple and keeps me organized. I know phones and computers have them too but I personally like this better. If I write it down, its not as easy to delete and say I'll do it tomorrow. Thats just me though.
My idea notebook is my bible though. I am constantly coming up with ideas. It's great to jot them down, otherwise I forget. Again, I prefer to write them down. Sometimes if I don't have the notebook on me, I will use the notepad on my phone but then I transfer it.
Just simple things in my operations that really help a lot. Thought I would share, maybe it will help someone else. I am sure most people just do it on the computer though. Please feel free to post your favorite tools of the trade that you use.
