just registered .
I found this forums days ago and I immediately felt I should be part of it, and I should have been years ago.In fact, I already got immense value from reading the gold threads!
I've been searching for something like this ! Other self improvement groups hardly have a focus on money making, and that's what I need the most right now
I will be starting my web design freelancing venture following @Fox 's book, posts and videos. I already taught myself programming but have been kinda wandering. The initial purpose was to get a job in development, I still want it now but I'm going to start my freelancing business.
The requirements of starting freelancing are joke compared to those of getting a job in the field.
Honestly know I feel that I'm pretty stupid because I didn't see how much opportunity is around me.
I am becoming 22 this month. Life is kicking me in the balls lately.
I'm from Italy
Got a Diploma in Traditional Arts in 2018, useless.
Since starting to work in 2018, I changed like 5-6 jobs. Meaning that I didn't get accepted in most of them. Think about not even being accepted in McF*ckingDonalds, or a mindless production job in a plastic factory, or another waiter job.
I've changed a lot while still school, I was a nerdy kid playing video games all day because I got bullied in middle school and since then I had difficulties talking to people. I still have now, but since high school I made a loads of progress . I'm proud of it, but it made me realize of how much work I still have to do, hence not being accepted to minimum wage jobs...
Lately I've burned another chance with a job in sales. Which Honestly, at that point I realized I'm not going to be a salesperson, at least not in sales to people. I know it is fundamental to success, I will find my way with it. But a job only selling ? Not for me, thanks.
And thats also the job I'm doing now, probably going to get fired. I'm just waiting to get another different job to pay for the expenses
I'm living with my mother and I'm the only one kinda working.
My story is kinda similar to @Envision , family was living well , we had a nice house with my father's business .Then the business failed and things started to fall down, parents got divorced and now I live in an apartment which is a joke compared to the house we had, but honestly I don't care that much about it now
The result is that I have not F*cking money.
I have F*cked around enough.
Life is requiring me to be more and I will respond. I NEED to.
I'm ready to ACTUALLY make it!!!!
Last edit: My goals right now are to start web design freelancing, and make enough money at first to pay rent, then to go live by myself so I 100% control my life while still fully providing for me and my mother.
This could be clearer and more structured, but I don't want to keep this too long since I'll start another thread to document the journey and put thoughts in, and hey, it's an introduction!
