Hi everyone,
I'm Georgije Stanisic, a 25-year-old engineer working in southeastern Wisconsin. I've always had a passion for invention and creation, and I really enjoyed my time in engineering school. My first internship out of school involved extremely boring and monotonous work. However, my second job, which is also my current role, offered me a wide range of diverse and practical experiences in mechanical design, project management, design thinking, and more. I'm grateful for this job, especially since it pays well compared to other engineering roles in my area.
The main issue I have is the sense of limited potential for growth and liability that MJ talks about in "The Millionaire Fastlane " and "Unscripted ." I can't help but dream about the life I want—having a few kids, traveling with my wife, and being able to support my parents in retirement. It doesn't seem fully attainable with the "good" salary I have right now. Although I enjoy the engaging and challenging work and love creating cool products for our customers, it often feels disconnected from genuine value creation.
In recent months, I've dived into various business projects that truly excite me. I spent six months in Denver, CO, on a short-term job with the same company to shake things up a bit, and it sparked a lot of ideas. I launched Conversifai.co, a company that develops AI chatbots for business-to-business needs, primarily for customer support. I'm also working on Board-Brain.com (still waiting to launch the beta version—as there are some bugs to fix), an app that uses AI to help enhance your chess game. Another venture I’m considering is called Property Papers, which aims to help users buy homes without needing a buyer's agent, like a TurboTax for homebuyers.
I have a strong conviction that I can create value for others and be rewarded for it. However, I don't have many friends who share a similar mindset. That's why I'm joining this community—to connect with more like-minded individuals who can support one another in achieving big goals!
Looking forward to connecting with you all!
