Sorry it is pretty long but I would appreciate it if you read this please.
Hello their viewers. To start off I am excited to be here on this website and was hooked on it since I discovered it about a month ago. I am all into the finance/business thanks to my economics teachers back in high school which I just graduated this spring. Now I am in a community college hoping to transfer soon to I do now know where yet.
I have very big passions, one of them being Track and Field which I joined my junior year of high school and was in love with it. I was hoping to get very fast times my senior year on Track and Field but during a workout one night at this training spot that I usually go to. I had a collapsed lung just occuring. So I had to crawl down two hills because no one was their and I did not want to die. (Well who doesnt) So when I was rushed to the hospital and had surgery at 1 in the morning I though it was all over and I wouldnt be able to run again. Later on in the days, the surgeon said I was able to. I did do track my last year but it was not going good for me.
And now Im in college treasuring every moment that I have of being young. I plan to major in finance but the real reason why I am in college is not to major in finance. It is to see my father see me graduate. He was born in the 40's so he was lucky enough to grow up during the (Real music 50's,60's,70's). Now my father is 70 years old and I do not know how long my father will live for. He survived a heart attack in the late 90's and is diabetic. But let me tell you why my father is very important to me because he could have left me and my brother because my mother puts him through hell but he puts up with it. And now my father talks about whats going to happen when he dies and I hate that cuz it gets me worried that he will die before he see's me graduate from college.
I have always told my dad that he should retire now because he is 70 years old but he still works to support the entire family and my mother does not support us financially.
So I have been interested in the fields of finance all thanks to my economics teacher back in high school and I love learning about stock quotes and mutual funds for some reason.
So that is why I registered here at this website so that I can gather information from people advice and/or experience on investing, etc.
So in the future when I am more knowledgable I will be gladly be able to give advice to people when I am more informed about things.
But for now I am the one seeking knowledge.
And hopefully I will be able to generate income not for me but for my family and hopefully be able to let my dad retire and relax in his 70 year old life for once. And maybe he will see me graduate from a university which is what I really want to happen before he might pass away. But what would be as much awesome would be me taking him out on a ferrari 430 or lamborghini gallardo.
And hopefully when these dreams with the help of God come true, I will be able to tell people here on this website that your dreams can come true as well.
