So they say that the hardest part of recovery is to admit that you have a problem. Well…I’m here to say that I have a problem…I’m a slowlaner. I wasn’t always heading down the slow path. When I was younger, college age, I ran a small cleaning service and dabbled in real estate rehabbing/rentals but I was shortsighted. Rather than continue to grow this mini money tree, I traded it for the “40 year plan” to support my new bride and family we planned to start soon. Looking back now I wish I could go back and give myself some “advice” but that’s in the past. So in my transition from real estate rehabber to a “steady 9-5 jobber”, I worked in insurance for a bit and then turned to Information Technology. I’m a Senior IT Security Specialist working in a healthcare company that has about 40,000 employees. It’s not a bad job and my boss gives me the freedom to do my thing but I’m just tired of investing my time and ideas at a place that really doesn’t care if I’m there or not. I’ve always been a bit of a late bloomer, so I guess I’m really right on schedule.
I came across this AWESOME forum while searching for online money making opportunities. Boy was I hooked from the first day I landed here. It was Ice Cream Kid's Astonishing Secrets from zend***phin that REALLY moved me. It gave me HOPE again. It sent me into ACTION. It made me want MORE so I picked up MJs book. Another zinger - TREMENDOUSLY INSPIRATIONAL!!! Over the last four months, I’ve read TMF two times, began studying copywriting and learning photoshop. My energy level is back my passion to build something special has been rekindled. Now I'm ready to embrace the process and take the plans I’ve been thinking about, map them out on paper and move forward.
