As I am writing this I am sitting on the side of the highway, in my sister's dead car, waiting for my parents to come back with some tools and parts.
We were currently on a 1000+ mile trip to my sister's college. As we were driving, something broke and we had to pull over. And when my parents had turned around to come and see what was wrong, I had the chance to suggest to them that we should have hired a professional mechanic to fix the car instead of letting my dad (who is as much of a mechanic as your average 10-year old girl) try and fix it.
And guess what they said.
"We can't afford to hire a mechanic!"
Now, this wouldn't really be a problem, except for that fact that they have spent AT LEAST $1000+ within the past week on things like eating at expensive pump houses, buying new (overpriced) shoes and designer clothes, indoor skydiving, racing higher end go-carts, and the list goes on.
So, as I wrap up this post, I'm still sitting on the side of the highway. And now, I am going to go back to drawing up prototype sketches for my new product idea while I think of more ways to escape my current life situation.
