Was wondering if anyone knows how to find manufacturers for various products, when these manufacturers do not themselves have any websites. Are there any special sites or publications that have listings of all the manufacturers for different industries...?

My other question is, I know of www.alibaba.com but I am really confused on how to use it. Do you just type in the type of product you are looking for and the manufacturers and/or suppliers will pop up? I know it should be easy, but for some reason it just seems confusing to me!
