Need some advice on a website.

I have a fairly original idea, and its really simple as far as websites go, however its potential for lots of traffic is definetly there. So much so that the traffic will most likely increase exponentially until it plateaus. What I need to figure out is how to properly monetize it. In your experience what types of advertising give you the best chance for profit. This idea has not been implemented yet and it is only a matter of time before someone realizes the opportunity thats been there the whole time. I know web stuff but im looking for a mentor who has made their millions exclusively from web related businesses. The mentor I seek could also potentially be a partner. The best part about the whole concept, is that there is very little cost involved. Also any advice or experience in online marketing is preferred and accepted. Thanks in advance.
