Hey Everyone! I have been away from this forum for a little while, but I decided to get involved again. I've been busy working in the import/export sector and now I am thinking about getting into the storage business. I was looking for a little input on the idea... Essentially, it's personal on demand storage for small items like clothes and such.
I would drop off empty boxes at the customers' house or where ever for a fee, and they would pack it up. Afterwards, I would come back to pick up the packed boxes and then store them in my warehouse for a monthly fee until they decided they want them back. Then I would charge them a fee to drop off their boxes again and I would either take the empty boxes back or they could repack them and I would store them again. That's the gist of it. What do you guys think? Any input is very much appreciated! To give you a jumping off point, I am looking for some insight about who you think would use this service, what do you think they would typically store, and what would you want in this service if you were going to use it? Thanks very much!
I know they are a few other similar services to this out there, but I think they could all use a little refinement.
