This thread will explain some of the great new and exciting features available here at the forum.
SOCIAL GROUPS
In your control panel, you can join social groups which will help you connect better to people who are interested in your investment preferences. I've created the first few and each is relevant to a particular business interest. For example, if you are a person interested in EBusiness, you could join the EBusiness group.
As a registered user, you can create your own social groups. If you do so, please keep them non-political.
TAGGING / TAG CLOUD
All registered users have access to "Tags" - this allows us to categorize content better. Any thread can have TAGS added and you do not need to be the thread starter. Simply click "Edit Tags" at the bottom of the thread. The best TAG usage is to tag using one word, two at most. As more tags are added, the terms in the Tag Cloud grow based on use.
SOCIAL BOOKMARKING
At the bottom of every thread are social bookmarking links. (Digg, StumbleUpon, etc.) If you think a thread is great, please bookmark it at your favorite site. This helps the forum grow with more exposure. Also, please social bookmark any article on the article site you find worthwhile. Please spread the word about the Fastlane and use social bookmarking!
ENHANCED PROFILES
The menu now shows the top 30 vs 20. I removed myself, however that doesn't mean I don't accept rep speed anymore. I do so.
Thread Prefixes
Not yet active, each thread can have a prefix. Such as "Question" or "Tip". I will ask for suggestions on some good prefixes in another thread, if any.
There are some other behind the scenes upgrades not needed to be mentioned. Enjoy and thanks for your patience during the upgrade process.

Like Facebook and Myspace, you can now add friends to your profile. Much like social groups, this helps you connect to people who share your business interests. To add friends, hit their profiles and "Befriend".
Albums
Add pictures of your friends, family, and experiences.
Visitors
Your profile now records who visits it.
