Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and extremely passionate about entrepreneurship! I am currently working on Making the transition from employee to business owner, and have been looking for places that I may be able to get a little more encouragement(friends and family seem to think of this as a pipe dream).
i am fortunate in my day job as I get to work with very wealthy entrepreneurs everyday, and I certainly ask all of the advice that I can.
One of the most common things I hear is to find what you are passionate about and find a way to make money doing it. This also means finding your strengths and developing passion doing things you wouldn't expect to hear about, for example, I am a perfectionist and am very passionate about directing my designer in exactly the way I vision things, love seeing a perfect product. They are also all very very hard workers, this doesn't mean they do things the hardest way, they are just far more dedicated than any employee could ever hope to be. They are not frugal, contrary to what some of my friends and family think, they just aren't dumb with their spending habits. They all see opportunity in everything around, because they pay far closer attention to the things that most just "pass" everyday heading to work. And, possibly the thing I hear the most is "buy low, sell high".
Every client I work with has two things in common, they are millionaires, and they are entrepreneurs, for this reason I feel lucky to have this job as I continue on my path to the transition! The thing that excites me most is that on a daily basis I get a real confirmation of the opportunity in this world!
