Ok,
So I need some assistance and advice from the folks here...
Currently my wife and I and son are a one and a half income family
she works a part time job
we are good on debt - could get rid of some but we currently
live at a level where we want to begin increasing our income more.
I guess you could say I have been working on Internet biz's
but none have taken off to that exponential part yet - they have
potential as do my other ideas, but haven't hit yet.
I am an accounant by trade - enjoy parts but some parts are God awful
boring. I have little interest in getting my CPA - not that I don't see
value but my goals are to work on the fastlane side of the coin.
I currently commute one hour each way per day for a job that pays the bills.
I have been offered a new job closer to home making a little more money
in the same type of work.
I'm not overly excited about it but also realize that no job will bring the fulfillment.
My biggest fear at this point and my limiting context at this point is the
fear of not paying the bills if while building my dreams. Would losing
everything be scary to me? I could deal with it, but I have two other
people I am responsible for.
I have considered buying a business for the instant cashflow and ability
to use my knowledge in business to add value to the biz instead of taking
a job. Working the biz full time as hard as I can.
I am working a couple hours a night (about all I have)
on my web businesses and brainstorming ideas.
I make some money which is a step in the right direciton but nothing
near what I need.
In your opinions, would you take the job closer to home, - this would save
on time and money, and continue to work on your biz part time?
Or, would you look at buying a biz and devote yourself full time to that and quit
your job all together?
i know that faith and just making it happen will have to come into play one
way shape or form, but I realize the realities and have to get past the fear
of making a mistake for the worse for my families sake - they are on board
but I take my duties as a father and husband very seriously as many here do.
just some thoughts would be appreciated.
like I said, I'm exposing my limited context here, but am open to
any ideas.
Thanks to all
Joe
