I've been working on an idea that I thought could be pretty lucrative but of course didn't have any proof of that.
I then decided to put together a landing page and a paid search campaign to promote it. I used the actual pricing tiers I am considering and put in the whole checkout feature as if they were actually proceeding with the product. Once "checkout" is complete it gives them an error message.
The campaign was launched about 15 minutes ago and already I received 17 clicks and 3 conversions! I know it's only the beginning but I guess it helps to somewhat prove my idea might have some potential.
Once this is done then I'll need to figure out how to make it happen but that's just another step in the process.
