Hi folks!
Long story short. I've found myself in a situation where I totally, very badly want and HAVE to escape my parents home, fly somewhere to Asia (to one of the several cheapest places on Earth) and start a new life. A life of minimalist vagabounder, working from his laptop. I have the whole philosophy behind this, but this is not relevant here. Let's just say that I totally, totally, HAVE TO.
To make things specific, I need 600$ in profit as for September to afford a living. And then obviously, keep going and most definitely, growing.
As for today, I have no income what so ever, no website, market research done, around 300$ in savings and belongings I will sell, which will most likely bring me at least 1000$.
On the other hand, I have about 2200 hours, several productivity and GTD skills developed, no social life and no liabilities.
I'm totally willing to sacrifice all the pleasure and gratification throughout these next 3 months.
I'm exercising 5 times a week, in a different ways, but I don't think it would be smart to give those up. They actually help, when I don't let the energy out (and you can tell I have loads of energy, especially since I'm eating 4000 calories a day) I just can't sit and get the intellectual work done properly.
Here is the thing. I just started with actually executing my idea and I want to have the blog with dozen quality articles within 1.5 week and an ebook in about 3 weeks. Now I've never done this and english is not my native language, so these are just my guesses how long it might take. As I'm realizing that you can never expect how the market will respond to your content and that it often takes over a year to get some traffic to your website, I'm starting to fear that I'm not going to make it. I'm also starting to condition my mind, that I might want to test few ideas before I actually succeed. Maybe go for multiple passive income streams? How far?
Now I'm not expecting anybody to give me a prescription or a blue print to a 3 month success. I'm sane enough to know that such things don't exist. I just want your thoughts and tips. What not to do, what to focus on, etc.
And I'm also wondering - isn't an ebook the fastest way to actually put on the market and see what's the reaction? If people love it, you collect a massive revenue over next few weeks and it keeps going, otherwise you see that it's a failure within days?
