Hi Everyone,
My name is Paul and I recently read The Millionaire Fastlane book, it was amazing, it gave me some insights and suspicions that I've been on the slowlane this whole time, I've read many financial books, and most of them are flawed, but the Fastlane is one ill always remember. A bit about myself
Im 24 years old, graduated college with a business major, currently as of Jan 2015 I am UNEMPLOYED, I have no debts what so ever, MY DREAM IS TO BECOME A MILLIONAIRE, TO RETIRE EARLY WHEN I AM STILL YOUNG AND ABLE, one of my goals in life is to build schools in Vietnam and parts of asia to give less fortunate children a chance, a chance to become something, a chance to help their country.
I managed to save about $22,000 dollars all invested into two sets of investment portfolios, $6000 is invested into companies that pays dividends which are reinvested to buy more shares (which is taking wayy to long, and part of the slowlane and would take forever to gain real money) $16,000 invested into oil companies in canada, because the markets are declining in the energy sector (which i have no control over whatsoever, regarding inclines or declines of the shares)
I have a huge interest in stock trading, I recently just started my goal is to day trade, and move onto trading forex but I've had my doubts about the roads I've chosen, and quickly realized prior to reading "the millionare fastlane" that this is going to take forever, I stumbled onto the Millionaire Fastlane and read it vigorously and understood everything, but the book left me in a bit of trouble, I dont know where to go from here, my initial goal is to invest all my money once it got to a significant amount, i would quickly liquidate all of my investments and put a down payment to an investment property, but referring to the fastlane book, one investment property won't cut it, you'd need a bunch to have you enter into a fastlane roadmap.
I could always start a business, but I dont want to enter, and create a business just for the sake of not having to work, that is the wrong reason, but I am having troubles trying to solve a need, or a problem to make it a business. My real question is where do I go from here? What can I do? Can someone direct me in a direction where I can find my way. I passionately want to become a millionaire, not only for myself but to have the power to help, help others, and make changes to this world for the better.
