Christopher here from Ottawa, Canada. I decided to sign up in hopes of growing my non-existent network and maybe learn a few things from people who've been there done that.
Just under 2 months ago, my business partner and I launched a marketplace for web design templates, specifically those that are built off the Bootstrap front-end framework Our marketplace is BootstrapBay.com.
We hope to grow our business in the following way:

We hope to grow our business in the following way:
- Publish high quality content on our blog that will help theme authors create great themes.
- Create video tutorials to help people learn Bootstrap.
- Offer competitive payment rates for theme authors who want to sell non-exlusively. Currently, most marketplaces pay very low commissions to theme authors who sell on their own websites or across multiple marketplace.
- Release free themes to get back links, increase traffic and build our list (they'll be required to create an account before downloading).
- Have a well designed site with useful features like ratings, comments, etc..
