What's up fastlaners!
I haven't read MJ's book yet, but I definitely will be purchasing it.
This forum appears to be a great place to talk with like minded individuals.
My goal is to contribute to this forum more than "seek".
I am twenty-two and have been an entrepreneur since I was twelve hustling candy out of my elementary school locker. The taste of sales and business at a young age had me addicted.
Since the age of sixteen I have been soaking as much information about business, mindset, life, etc.. as possible.
Although I am not a multi-millionaire who drives a lambo yet, I have learned many lessons in the game of business.
I will make some threads later on explaining more of the lessons I have learned and little more background on myself.
Right now, I am currently starting an e-commerce company. To get this company rolling, I worked a deal out with a local warehouse. I work for them full-time making $10 per hour, but they are giving me space to warehouse my product and use their warehouse to ship product to and from.
Most my friends are graduating college and getting "nice" corporate jobs (in their opinion, I'd rather be dead than work the corporate circus). They are purchasing nice cars and have money now.
They look at me like I'm crazy.....
I have a job offer, at a startup advertising company that I previously worked for, that wiil pay $70k per year. If I took this job I would be making more money than the majority of my friends who are in their new corporate jobs. But what have I decided to do? I'm working in a hot warehouse doing manual labor for $10 per hour. I drive a beat-up car with the paint fading and it makes noises while driving.
But I know a high-paying "job" will never allow me to reach my financial dreams. So, right now, it's all about the grind baby!
Hope to meet and have some great conversations with you folks!
