Greetings
I would like to say hello with one story giving some details for your reading appetite.
I am a child of the early 80's . My family was the kind of family that you would describe as low middleclass to that era. They had to work 2 jobs each of them in order to provide. It didn't matter to me at all. All the love of the world was given to their children. As a youngster , all i really cared was to go swimming every day. I got involved into competitive swimming. It was a mind changing experience . I was lucky to have a coach with an excellent mindset raising us as athletes . I learned that the hard work is being done first into your character , then you can withstand whatever pain and struggle needed to reach your goals. And i brought the results. God it felt good.
Then the real life slapped me for the first time. You see to be able to go from a national to European athlete my family had to provide the money needed to travel every week for my training to my capital. They couldn't afford it back then and i knew it very well. That left me with no bitterness at all but i am still curious about how well i could go if i continued
Life moved on , finished high school , went to army (you are obligated to do so here) . What a waste of time it was . 23 month of my life feeling stagnant and having to put up with doing things that most positive word that comes to my head is "dull"
College years were much better. I could finally meet people, exchange ideas , beliefs , learn. Still i quitted college and got a job at coast guard once i had the opportunity. I am still loving it as i strongly believe it is one of the few jobs a person can do, that someone will say to you "thank you" and you can absolutely sure that they mean it .
Ending my long post one may ask why you are here. Maybe to exchange some points of view. Possible to learn something useful from people that are better and succeeded more than me. When it comes to wealth i am far for comfortable living as economy at Greece went on a rollercoaster ride past years.
Regards
Chris
p.s. Excuse me for any typing mistakes i did.
