Hey guys,
I made a lot of moves over the past couple of days and have a couple avenues I am going to walk down and see where it takes me. I just turned 20 and I am still in college, and the reason for my posting was to get some feedback and helpfully channel all this energy into productivity.
Over the past few days I have:
-Bought MJ's book, among 2 others which were 'Learning Javascript' and 'how to buy foreclosed Real Estate
-Contacted a local entrepreneur who has his own energy drink in PHX, AZ about possibly gaining an internship with him or possibly thinking about investing in it (great product and thought it was the best before I even met the guy and it was a luck of the draw that I got to meet the owner)
-Bought a great domain name that could potentially be flipped (forkandknives.com)
-Called and set up a meeting for tomorrow about the mobile homes in Tempe
-Contacted the young entrepreneurs club at my university and will more than likely join.
Here is where I need a little feedback. I have no problem working and would work 16 hour days if only....I had something to work on. The part that is stopping me right now is not energy, motivation, or unwillingness to do it. I am not looking to make a huge new invention, I just need to some how channel all this energy that I have into something. So here are a couple questions:
-Am I off to the right start right now by buying the java script book and learning coding? Or what are the best books or ways to get started in learning the internet in general?
-I have 0 idea how making money on the internet works (besides a little knowledge on affiliate marketing), so what would be a great way to get acquainted with this?
-If you were 20, in college (and have a full scholarship), 1500 dollars for investing and unlimited energy, what would be a great way to get some momentum going?
-My strengths are very persuasive writing, marketing/advertising, ability to focus for long periods of time and not lose motivation. Besides copywriting which is a shark infested water, is there a way to turn these into profit on the net? Also, what skills or knowledge do you believe would be invaluable to add? (name of books greatly appreciated)
I apologize for the long read and hopefully this does not come off as a "OMG, please tell me how to get rich and give me ideas" type thread. It was not my intentions, I just have way too many jumbled and sporadic ideas (think about taking a bucket of 300 bouncing balls in a 12x16 room and dropping it), and need to channel it into productivity.
P.S. I would love to be an active member in this community and contribute and do plan to do that one day when I can actually provide helpful information and not just give two word answers and be a leech.
Thanks for reading!
tl;dr =jumbled ideas, need help to take first step actions, already made some moves.
