How does the News Scavenger work here, and in other common places?
Is it an add on program to VB that searched the web based on set keywords or phrase criteria?
Or subscribed RSS feeds, also with filtered keywords, that are converted into posts? Upon approval?
Or, It's just another admin sn that's used when relevant articles are noticed. I know this isn't how it works here (I don't imagine MJ spending time doing it), but other places it's common.
So, I'm asking because I'm curious what the BEST way to get relevant content (that's not produced in house) to a website in a systemized fashion.
There are obviously numerous ways to accomplish this and filter results. I'm wondering if anyone has any opinions on methods and I'm particularly interested in quantity vs. quality.
