Hey guys,
I am Nifal. I have a lot of good memories about the Fastlane Forum. One of the main reasons I started entrepreneurship was the book Millionaire Fastlane . That’s how I found this forum.
That was maybe 2016. I wrote a nice goal post back then: My Age 26 Goals (I am 34 now)
It’s been 8 years since then. Please check out that thread if you have some time; I feel very nostalgic about it. I also posted an update about my current financial situation in that thread today.
That being said, I don’t know whether I achieved Fastlane profits lol. It’s been 8 years, so it was not exactly fast haha. And I have been financially independent for the last 5 years. But I am not rich. I still have to work to pay the bills.
So my main vehicle for profits was affiliate marketing. Over the years, I ran millions in revenue with paid ads. Margins are slim, maybe 20-25%. But I got pretty good at it.
The only problem is, I kinda didn’t like what I was doing. It was really boring, but money was coming in, and I didn’t want to go back to a job.
So in 2024, I started software development. The goal was to build SaaS. I already have SaaS I built to run my affiliate marketing campaigns but never something I sell to others. I learned a ton! I can now code 10x faster than I used to by using AI and code templates that I built in 2024. In fact, my major revenue source outside of affiliate marketing right now is StartupBolt, which is a NextJS starter. I will build that into a website-building behemoth this year. That is one of my goals.
My other goal this year is to build more SaaS. I have a ton in mind. I want a place to document all of that. That’s when I remembered my old Fastlane Forum. I tried to log into my old account, and boy, I still have access to it lol.
I have a history of being very active in forums. I learned bboying in 2005 using a forum named bboy.org (now defunct). And I learned affiliate marketing from a forum named STMForum (now called the Affiliate World Forum). I met my good friend Alex through the Fastlane Forum. He is mostly into crypto now, last I checked. So I really like forums, although I haven’t been active in one for years. But I want to change that in 2025. I want to go back to the roots.
I will do a follow-along here about my journey and execution of building my new SaaS businesses in 2025.
Here are my goals:

Here are my goals:
- 10,000+ GitHub contributions (2024: 3,500+)
- Ship 4 times weekly (I will update regularly in Fastlane Forum about this)
- Scale my business to new heights
- Post at least 4 times every week in this forum with updates about my progress
