It's cause I got an espresso machine! Well... like 2 months ago. Being the Seattlite I am, the severe lack of Vitamin D and Mr. Sunshine up here means that the majority of us are more or less complete caffeine addicts. We have a lot of pride for Starbucks, but yes, those bills really do add up when you're trying to cut your income source to fund starting a business. There's also another thing... damn kids can't ever make a consistent cup of coffee! I feel like I'd have better luck at the roulette table than at S-Bucks. Unfrothed milk, forgotten espresso shots in the drink, the constant whip cream when I say no whip cream please. It's enough to make a coffee drinker die a little inside.
But die a little no more, for the last two months I've had a perfect, chocolatey style cream-a espresso with beautifully frothed milk or just the right ice to milk to espresso ratio. I've also only on my 2nd bag of beans.
After doing some research, here's the bad boy I bought, only $90.

Oddly enough, it's a nice 5 minute break in the morning to make my cup of joe before I hit the keyboard. I don't have to drive 2 miles, and I get it just the way I like it, for 1/50th the price.
Anyone else as horrifically addicted to the stuff as I am? When I move south into the sun, I'm definitely going to try and quit. But for now, I love milking every last ounce of productivity out of me in the day.
