I posted to this forum months ago and thought I had the opportunity at making my own money. I remember trying to look up businesses to call up so I can provide them digital marketing. I've had businesses fail and had people ghost on me before after they promised me xyz. At the end of the day I want to play it out for the longer term. I'm NOT giving up until I get what I want (FU money). Oh and yes I have to settle some scores. Having a comfortable career where I'm slowly dying inside isn't what I'm about. The 2 biggest actions I've done in the past couple of months are quit my industrial job and enroll into school. It took me a week to get my body readjusted from working the graveyard shift. Still makes me shudder I had to do that in the industrial job, never again. Imagine sitting in traffic for an hour, competing against the morning rush and trying to sleep 8 hours so you don't mess up your sleep cycle. Since I don't want to be doxxed I have to be a bit careful about dropping too much personal information.
My last job I'll ever do is related to what I'm studying, which is a very challenging field. It honestly kills me to type that because I don't want to work for someone else. Upside is it's obviously high paying and once I get enough experience I can go off on my own. I've already mentioned on my other posts that I've worked in the food industry and quite frankly that industry sucks. I pity the people that have went to culinary school only to be making $10/hour working 80 hours per week. I lol at people that think I will accommodate demands for $20/hour just so I can get served coffee. No thanks I have my own machine and won't even dream of paying $5 for overrated Starbucks coffee. Oh well at the end of the day mother nature kills. Mondays are still hard to adjust since I've spent so many years in my career working an unconventional work schedule. Thank god it's Monday? TGIF still doesn't make any sense to me haha.
Action items for the rest of the week:
Clean up my email and unsubscribe people that annoy me and waste my time.
Connect with people that will help me grow my business.
**Private**
Do some research and borrow books from the library
Set aside time to study school material
Will try to answer questions/provide help on other threads.
