Okay, didn't work out.
The idea of becoming amazingly rich came to me one year ago. (Well, in fact the main reason for going into this was because I couldn't imagine myself working at a job... for the rest of my life.)
Of course, I thought about the easiest way and what "everyone" was doing.
Make money online. In other words, "Online marketing". Heh.
Started doing Adsense. (still gives me 200-300 USD a month. Good pocket money, I guess : ) . Probably can throw some money into this just for the heck of it.)
6 months later realized this model is "a waste of time" and complete reliance on Google (I wrote good content, though).
It won't make real money, at least. (UNLESS I create a really valuable website. Not just some MFA.)
---
Then dabbled in amazon affiliate marketing... which never took off simply because I didn't like the business model. Well, I did slap a few websites and did basic SEO but I just ... can NOT write about microwave ovens or vacuum cleaners. Never was a fan of physical products (Brian Tracey btw says that there are two types of salesmen out there - you are either good at selling tangible or intangible products heh : ) ).
Oh, I also tried to sell an info product - well, it was kind of hard. I THINK I could've made it work as I know that a few of my competitors in that market are profitable... The website is still there and is still receiving visitors, though.
But it seemed to be a lot of work because of the type of my audience... hard to sell an "ebook" to them.
Hard work was ok, but I tried to envision what kind of return I would get from this kind of business. Hm... no.
----
So, yeah... Read MJ DeMarco's articles and the book again recently... and started thinking about giving up on yet another idea that I had... CPA marketing! : )
What made me doubt myself is that ... CPA and affiliate marketing in general violate the commandment of entry, control, and to an extent the commandment of Scale (the best you can do is to capture emails... but you can't hire your own affiliates when you are an affiliate yourself, right? )...
I didn't want to make info-products or yet another "lifeless" dating websites. (Which could be a product for my list) I don't like online dating. Again, seems that I'm jumping from one thing to another, but on the other hand, if I have doubts ... maybe it is not the kind of business I should be in?
I think re-reading Fastlane Millionaire really opened my eyes on one thing. One mindset that was probably the core reason for why I was feeling like "I wasn't really doing real business" (Internet marketing that is, and following the "online making money methods")
I was focusing on making money and not finding and filling a need. To have my own product and have full control over it. To have my own customers.

Seems like I'm jumping from one idea to another, which seems to be true especially considering my last 6 months ; ).
For some reason, I've decided to go completely into software creation now and "give up" on Internet marketing.
Lots of reasons:
1)I graduated from Computer Science
2)I have a few friends of the relatives who are in the IT business.
3)I recently got a job as a programmer
The only negative is that I am not familiar with the recent trends in Computer Programming languages (university didn't do a very good job at teaching me that the IT world is ever-changing : ). )
There are a couple ideas already for a software. Or, if anything... I could start an outsourcing company.
Yep. That's probably all I wanted to say : ). I will try to participate more on the forums from now on.
