Hi everyone! :wave:It's about time we express our gratitude and thoughts on the 2009 B&P.
First off, it was so amazing to be even remotely a part of such an inspirational and educational gathering! Have to admit that it was so much more than expected. In fact, in taking some of the great advice, we both needed to sit down and think thru the magnitude of information that we absorbed over the short weekend! :hl:
It's simple, to all the people involved in organizing the great event, thank you for an amazing job: for one for getting us the heck out of Chicago long enough to realize that one day soon we will move over to paradise and forget all about this depressing cold and floods; second, seeing the reality of living the dream and all the impressively and persistently imaginative and strong ideas that come together thru this network of truly remarkable people is, in fact, believing that there is so much more to life and it is only up to us to make it happen. It's so easy to get caught up in life's little jokes and get stuck in this endless circle of paying for things that we don't need and never having what we really want. However, a group like all of you guys who inspires other's true spirits and talents to come out and strive for nothing but the best really makes a difference - especially for us! I believe that the best way to say thank you and to prove what we have learned is to go out there and make things happen, take some calculated risks, be bold, dare to live!
Being a bit new to this group, I think instead of making a list of people to thank we want to just truly say BLAGODARIA to all of you who are a part of this. It was amazing to put the stories together, to see the real people behind the expressive screen names, to hear all the potential and feel so welcomed!
I hope soon enough to be able to contribute to this group some wisdom, and a lot of success as well as to share the joys and hardships along the way.
Thank you again for all your input, your support and the good times!
Now on to hard work towards a better today and tomorrow!
(*On a side note, I suppose it's fairly obvious that I am a bit more of the listening kind at first so I apologize if I may have seemed a bit distant or quiet...I believe what counts is that I got so much out of the whole weekend and just needed the time to absorb it all! It was an honor meeting each one of you and I'm grateful for the input and interest!
I hate goodbyes so I am sorry if I didn't say it but I just won't!!! I believe in beginnings! Besides, I was hating the thought of going from the perfectly nice, warm, pretty weather to coming home to 19 degrees and snow...AGAIN! Grrrr...I know you guys understand my frustration.)
