Hello,
I recently paid off all my poor choice consumer debt. I left my job and went to a 3 week course, got a job that doubled my income, went gazelle intense and achieved my goal of being "debt free". I hate it. Well, not getting out of debt, I just hate the job. I've always wanted to "be my own boss". Who doesn't? I never had any "marketable skills" or "knew what I wanted to do for a living". So I floated from job to job, career type to career type. Never knowing what to do other than to live on tomorrow's dime. So I got out of the sidewalk to the slow lane on my own. Great. Shouldn't I be happy? I'm doing the steps necessary to be successful aren't I? I'm sacrificing part of my life, living as frugally as possible to save my money? Shouldn't I be happy?
So I started reading some self help books by financial gurus among others. Watching YouTube videos, etc. I've read and watched a litany of them. They're all the same. Endless platitudes and half-baked logic. It's funny, I genuinely said "I'll give one more book a try and then I'm back to my normal reading list". My normal literature of choice is Fantasy and Science Fiction. Anything to get away from reality...
Lo and behold the last book I gave a try was "The Millionaire Fastlane ". Thank God for that. Instead of empty platitudes he gave plausable processes. Instead of half-baked theories the writers never practiced, MJ practiced what he now preaches. Mj went from success to writing, not writing to success. He teaches systems and processes and probability. I finally understand. I've been following a poorly written script from the get go. I've got questions about the implementation of my business idea. I'll be posting them elsewhere. I've called a few distributers already, but I need advice. I hope you all are willing to help me get answers. I'm glad to be part of a community of individuals who put rubber to the road and drive the fastlane.
