Do you ever turn to outside eyes (eyes that you trust) in your path to financial freedom?
We finished up with a consultation this afternoon. We had hired someone to review our books, both personal and business, and help us see the forest rather than the trees.
The outcome was really helpful. It feels as if we have seen the obvious direction we should be headed in, but for some reason before today.... were just stuck in all the details.
Also, often times we end up feeling really isolated in our financial adventures. People that live in our community just don't think the same way we do.
On one hand, it seems pretty silly to spend money to get this outside review of your life, but on the other hand, I found it surprisingly helpful.
Has anyone else ever done something like this? Was it helpful to you?
