The most important lesson that I've learned about the fastlane, is something that I learned within the first day... of joining the forum!! (no exaggeration)
I hope to save you some time discovering what took me so long to realize. (Rather than build on the foundation that I had been given on the first day of reading MJ's original articles, it took me nearly two extra years for them to actually sync in)
Here goes;
There are so many things you will never see.
There are so many things you will never learn.
There are so many things you will never have.
There are so many people you will never meet.
There are so many times that people will say no.
There will be many things that you will regret.
But there are so many more things that you will regret never having tried.
Quit bitchin'
Stop Talking.
Take action.
You won't regret it.
In the last two months I've done more to reach my goals, than I have in the last five years. (actions) and I've experienced more than I've thought possible (in such a short time).
I've made a huge move across the country in search of more opportunity, and my first website is nearly fully developed, with a tentative launch date of January 1st. In less than 30 days my networth/starting capital has gone up approximately 600%.

I never liked the expression "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade". Why wait for life to give you anything? Get off your rear-end and get your own.
There is no perfect time to start your journey.. I know this firsthand.
Success can be summarized in four simple steps;
Think/Learn > Commit/Plan > Do/Action > Repeat
Most people (like me) spend so much time on the first two steps, while we wait for the perfect moment to get started on our "amazing idea". But guess what? There is no more perfect a time to get started than RIGHT NOW.
Eliminate any and all excuses from this moment on, if you haven't already. You have a cold? Your arm hurts? You have no money? You're too young? You have some kind of disease? Who cares? You're not getting any sympathy from me, or anyone else.
Examine what you presently do at seemingly unimportant times. When you wake up in the morning, do you hit the snooze button on your alarm clock, or do you wake up excited, fresh and ready to go? When you get home from work or school, do you run to the tv, or do you get started on your goals? Do you even have written goals? (most people don't).
Answering those questions easily tells you where you're currently at with regards to achieving your dreams. Mediocre efforts can only produce mediocre results.
Like many other posters have said, anybody can talk a big game, but it takes a fastlaner to turn that talk into action.
