I am an entrepreneur whose primary business is developing software, however, I have developed a food product in my free time that can be packaged and sold to a grocery chain.
I am actually thinking of Trader Joe's in particular because this product would be perfect for them. I have the basic information about the things we would need to do to sell to them and have a consultant who has launched successful products with them before. He launched one line of beverages and the company is now at $40M in revenues.
I have tested the product on a small audience and received rave reviews. It actually contains only 2 primary ingredients and is shelf life stable.
Partner -- I am looking for a potential partner -- ideally someone who knows a thing or two about commercial food manufacturing, however, if you don't at least have access to a commercial kitchen like a farmer's market vendor would. I am in the San Diego area and would prefer someone in Southern California so we can discuss in person.
Investor -- We'll need to get some investors at some point if we really want to ramp up to industrial capacity.
