Hi there, I'm always looking for new exciting business ideas and today I found another good one I think..
I thought I would share it with you guys because I thought it was a really good business idea! Potentially Fastlane??..
It's called Parcel Genie.
ParcelGenie: Send real gifts instantly using a mobile phone without needing a delivery address
Parcel Genie is a service that allows you to send a little surprise gift to a friend, in the post!
What you do is you download the Parcel Genie app and you choose a little gift from the selection to send off to someone as a little surprise to them (sweets, little novelty gifts etc). All you need to do once you've chosen the little gift is then type in their cell/mobile phone number and then Parcel Genie sends off the gift to them by post for you. You don't even need to know the persons address (and this is where I think it gets quite clever), because Parcel Genie first sends the recipient a text message notifying them that they have a surprise gift waiting for them from a friend. All they have to do then is type in the address where they would like to receive the gift (work, home etc), and Parcel Genie sends the little gift off to them in the post!..
Well, I thought that was a brilliant idea!
It got me thinking about how you could maybe do something similar to this? Or do exactly the same thing even, but maybe you could find a way to do it better??
