I'm involving my teenage sons (13 and 15 yo) in my new business. I want them to learn with me and I hope they will eventually become better than I am.
As they are currently both in school, it leaves little time for them to fully participate. I have discussed with my son the possibility of taking a sabbatical from school next year to be more involved and he is seriously considering it right now.I think it would be a good opportunity for him to get some real world experience and help him decide what he wants to do with his life. He could continue to learn "school" stuff on his own too (self-taught) so he can go back to school when it makes sense, or at least have that choice.
We get along well but I remain his mother and him a teenager. Anyone walked that path? I would like to know if others tried, what worked and what didn't work.
