If you had the opportunity to buy a website for 500$ that sold nick naks for 5$ a piece but only yielded a 40% return each sell, and fulfillment was included in the sale so its no extra cost, and no extra work. Would you buy the website? Heres the catch the hosting is on your own server so you dont pay any hosting fees at all so the only overhead is the cost of the electricity.... but the products on your page might only make a small amount of sales each month (maybe 30$ profit). There is also the possibility of selling the sight if its not working for you. It would take a little over a year to possibly get back what you put in but after its all straight passive income.
Basically a one time investment. You get the inventory,site and, you can practically set it and, forget it. It will need occasional maitenance but for the most part its a mostly hands free approach and, you can get most of your money back and, keep the inventory you didnt sell and use it for personal use. You could also buy other sites that are similarly effective to build even more income streams.
This is a completely hypothetical question so would anyone do this? Why or why not? Also lets say the traffic is steady and, you dont have to worry about driving traffic it just arrives.
Ive never made any real passive income so I dont know at what point its just worth more to invest elsewhere.
