Peer Mentoring Group Suggestions

So I am hosting a peer mentoring group this Friday with 11 start-up companies. Im hoping this develops into a long lasting group and we can help each other through the hockey stick that is most successful ventures. Ive been a part of peer mentoring groups and have always found them to be incredibly helpful, especially because you have others who understand the struggles you are going through and can provide support, advice, and resources. My question to everyone out there who has been a part of peer mentoring groups or "master mind" groups as some call them, is what do you feel was the most helpful or successful part of the group. For the first meeting my goal is just for everyone to get to know each other, what we are struggling with, where we are succeeding, and finally ending it with comments/questions. Over time I would like to address the most important issues the companies are struggling with and have activities or bring in speakers who are experts in a certain area (for example social media).

Would love any suggestions or advice anyone can provide.
