I have started my new business of fabrics/ready-made dresses. This is just the first month of my nascent business. However, I plan to become the biggest entrepreneur lady of my country. I am taking the first step toward my dream. I'll be sharing the story of my business journey with all of you on regular basis..

Well,
I am a student of MS Public Policy.
I have been freelancing as an academic writer for over a year now (making nearly $2000-5000 per month).
Just recently, I decided to jump into the world of entrepreneurs.
After a thorough overview of a number of businesses and options, I opted fabrics/textile. But I knew nothing as how to start and what to do...!!
I read a number of blogs on how to start fabric business in Pakistan and finally made a plan.
I talked to my local retailers about their business and about where do they get the dresses and at what prices bla bla bla. I offered more competitive price to them. Finally was able to secure one order for 500 ready-made dresses of women. They are very trustworthy. Moreover they offered me 10 percent in advance.
Only then, I rented a small house to be used as my company. Name for the company was quickly decided and registered. Then I hired two fashion designers and a few tailors. I knew that I had a big order of 500 dresses which needs to be delivered in a duration of month. The work has started. All is set on schedule. I am checking each and every dress on my own to ensure perfect quality, fitting, size etc..
The due date is 21st August. I have directed my employees to complete the order by 16 August.
I have always been fascinated by import-export sort of business and finally I decided to dive deep in this world as well. Again, the first step was to google "how to start import-export business?". Getting no clear hints, I decided to go for what my mind told me to do.
I plan to export my dresses to Europe, Australia, Canada and Europe. I see a big market of traditional Pakistani and Indian dresses there.
I am searching so desperately to get some order from any company of these countries. Yesterday, I contacted to the CEO's of a number of big fabric retailers of Europe, the USA, Australia and Canada (via mail). I have sent them a detailed description of my company, products, aspirations and endeavors. I am waiting for some response from any side. By now, I just got one response from a big UK entrepreneur telling me to wait while their CEO get time to review my offer.
I would be contacting many more by this Sunday.
I do not know what will come out of my efforts. I am hoping something good.
I'll make weekly updates about the performance of my company.
