PARKED
Hello everyone,
First let me thank those who have taking the time to click on my post. I am new to this website but I have just finishing reading the book. Let me give a little background of my current situation. Over the pass year I have thought of what will be a pretty creative and lucrative mobile app. Everyone I have ran the idea across really likes the idea, and they are people i wouldn't consider to be yes men. I have talk with several app developers and reviewed 5 proposals within the last week. After working on my plan for development and reviewing all the proposals, it is going to cost me around 10k just to have the app developed and another 5k for marketing. Thing is I just don't have 15k laying around.
So I work at a hospital so I talk to a lot of well educated docs all the time (I am not a doctor). One doc in particular, a proud graduate of Florida University, I discuss books and ideas with all the time. He to has read the Millionaire Fastlane , but we differ on one thing about the book. In the book MJ talks about how he learned to paint and turned it into a valuable skill that he can make money off of. So after reading this I figured I could take a couple of months and learn to develop apps reading and watching countless YouTube videos. My doctor friends believes I should not do this and just focus on working with developers to get the app out now. This is where I am torn. Should I listen to my doctor friend or learn to develop apps myself?
