I think I was surprised to see this, and somehow it sends a message to make excuses. I am aware of poverty, but I feel many minorities would be more at risk, or perhaps from types of environment. I just kind of cringed seeing it, because it's says if you're a poor white boy, you can't be successful. At the same time I don't see how you can just base this off of free lunch programs to make such a huge statement.
