Hey all so need some opinions and thoughts on a business venture. A good family friend owns a mobile automotive/rv air conditioning repair here in central FL. He does good for himself he's had it going for 15 years and has always just worked alone. Me being a freshly separated Marine Corps vet he offered me the chance to work with him and I have been for a few months. The original idea was to get the training and open my own business however recently he proposed going into business with him and expanding his company. I think its a great idea. He is starting to change his mind a want to create a subsidiary company doing the same thing he is already doing and wants me to run it. I don't think its the best move I believe we should go into his already existing 1 man business and expand to have multiple mobile repair trucks and expand to serving all of central Florida. Any thoughts or advise on options?
