I'm lucky enough to have a good friend that owns a marketing company that he's been very successful with.
Currently, I'm at a point in my business where I needed some guidance in my marketing. We've been doing a good job with our initial plan leading up to our next phase of marketing but it just felt like we needed something more. Something a little extra to get us to that tipping point.
Anyway, I called him up and asked him if I could take him to lunch as I wanted to run some ideas by him. Thankfully, he eagerly accepted and we had an amazing conversation that gave me countless of nuggets to now map out and put into action, all for a good lunch that cost me $50.
I don't know if these nuggets will be the turning point for my business, but it sure as hell will give us a nice kickstart. I'll map out the results in my progress thread later but long story short, I can say with confidence that he brought incredible insight to my business that I hadn't thought of. If you're stuck in your business, I highly recommend finding people that are out doing what you want to do successfully and figure out some sort of an offer to get an hour or 2 with them. It will be worth every penny you spend.
