I like how MJ characterizes different aspects of your business as the different pieces on the chess board. I was talking to my sister about process and that you don't just start something with an event. My husband and I are considering becoming authors and we know it will be a long process. Then my sister said that process is like a chess game. Mind, she has not read the book. You don't go from start to checkmate by moving a pawn at the beginning of the game, but it a process and a strategy, using your resources and tools to get to checkmate. Good chess players even strategize a few moves ahead and try to execute those moves in their proper order. One move leads to another, and must go in order, and adapt to your opponent's moves.
Just thought it was a great analogy that might be appreciated here. It is all about the process.
